Reformer Pilates has gained global popularity over the past two decades. Private and semiprivate sessions offer individual attention.
The Reformer glides as you control the movement with Powerhouse or while breathing and engaging your abdomnial muscles. The spring tension is four to six springs, depending on the model.

History dates back to Joseph Pilates, the late 1800s, who developed the Pilates Method. Pilates began in hospitals as an exercise program where springs attached to infirmary bedposts. This concept has evolved currently into Reformer Pilates. Reformer Pilates is practiced by ballet dancers at New York Ballet schools and is currently used today across the world by seasoned athletes, beginners, and the elite professional. Like so many others have experienced, Pilates continues to improve people’s health.
How do Pilates Reformer exercises work?
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, non-weight bearing exercise program. Some of the life-changing benefits include increased strength, balance, flexibility, control, agility. Most importantly, no back or neck pain, and it can be used as a form of rehabilitation. Everybody will change and start to experience better joint and spinal mobility, over time with a dedicated practice.

The recommended time is 2 to 3 times per week for 20-75 minutes, above all to receive the maximum benefit. The length of time of each practice will depend on the clients current physical and mental health. The focus of the practice is breath, flow, and precision or alignment and discipline is everything.
